TOPIC: STILL GOT MY PRAISE
ANCHOR: PSALM 66
*A #DavidOfurum TEACHING*
“What I’m going through is not as important as how I’m going through it”. That’s the understanding that guides a victorious man. That’s why he can go through very terrible things smiling and praising all the way. If you’ve got all the money and still can’t smile though you want to, then victory is not in place. But when you see a man as joyful as can be even though you know he’s broke, that guy is victorious. He is broke yet unbroken by it.
You can still have your praise on despite trials. Praise is a decision. Praise is a deliberate action. Praise is an attitude. True victors are not victorious simply because the storm is over; they are because they just choose to be, irrespective of the circumstances.
There are at least three kinds of trials to be thankful for:
1. The trials you escaped: It could have been, should have been, could have been a harrowing experience if you had been through them, but God blocked them. He deserves your Glory Hallelujah!
2. The trials you underwent: If you hadn’t gone through them, you wouldn’t have come out to the wealthy place and with the testimonies of God’s faithfulness that you have today. Bless His holy name for seeing you through it all.
3. The trials you’re going through: There’s a joy set before you if you endure to the end. If you can praise God through them, they will all end in praise. Keep your praise on. Hallelujah!
I pray for you: No matter the trial, you will never lose your praise in Jesus’ name.
