TEXT: NUMBERS 23:19; 1 SAMUEL 15:29

I believe there are three ways to get to know a person, namely: what they say about themselves; what others say about them; & what you observe for yourself about them. I believe these three levels of assessment affect God also.
From my experience with God, I know Him to be a faithful God whose word is His bond. But let us look at what He says about Himself & what others who have experienced Him have to say about Him.

Prophet Samuel called God the Strength of Israel that cannot lie (1Sam. 15:29).
Prophet Baalam observed that God is not a man that fails to fulfil his promises (Num. 23:19).
.Prophet Jeremiah noted that nothing is too difficult for God (Jer. 32:17).
Apostle Paul asserts that God is faithful to finish the good work He started (Phil. 1:6)
Now, on to what God says about Himself.

My word are not empty words; they accomplish what they say (Isa. 55:11).
Nothing is too difficult for me (Gen. 18:14, Jer. 32:27).
Whatever you ask in My name, I will do it (Jn. 14:13).
All power in Heaven & earth belong to me (Mat. 28:18).
I am Alpha & Omega, the beginning & the end (Rev. 1:8; 11; 21:6; 22:13).

Two major conclusions we can draw from the foregoing about God’s character are:
1. God is too faithful to not fulfil His word.
2. God has all ability & capacity to accomplish anything.
These are bankable guarantees. Since what God says about Himself, what people say about Him & what we observe for ourselves about Him all confirm these two elements of His character, among others, then His character is unquestionable & constant.

Wouldn’t you rather trust this God?
